JackBe Announces Mash-for-Cash Contest

Contest Challenges Enterprise Mashup Developers to Become ‘Mashter of Your Domain’ and Win $2500

Chevy Chase, MD and Fremont, CA - October 27, 2008 - JackBe, the leading provider of enterprise mashup software, today announced the “Mash-for-Cash” Mashup Contest.  The contest pits mashup developers against each other in a street-rules cage match to design and build enterprise-grade mashups using the free Developer Edition of JackBe’s Presto Enterprise Mashup Platform. 

JackBe is looking for mashers that want to compete for the $2500 first-place prize, the honorary title of ‘Uber Masher’, bragging rights and tons of street cred.  Mash-for-Cash Contest winners will be selected by the members of JackBe’s Mashup Developer Community.  Mashup posers need not apply.

The contest begins Monday, October 27, 2008 and ends December 31, 2008.  In addition to the $2500 first-place prize, $1000 and $500 runner-up prizes will be awarded for second and third place, respectively.  Interested contestants can visit the Mash-for-Cash Contest page for entry information and contest details.
