JackBe Announces Next Generation of Enterprise Mashup Software
Release Delivers Innovative Support for Enterprise Portals and Rich Internet Applications, Enabling Wide-scale Deployments of Enterprise Mashups
Chevy Chase, MD and Fremont, Calif. – November 8, 2007 - JackBe, the leading provider of enterprise mashup software, today announced the next generation of its user-driven enterprise mashup software, Presto. The release emphasizes features that provide dynamic mashups support for enterprise portals and rich internet applications, enabling wide-scale deployments of enterprise mashups for better business decisions.
The new release includes Presto Connect, a standards-based interface to incorporate mashups into a variety of user-facing platforms such as enterprise portals and rich internet applications (RIA). Included with Presto Connect is the Portal Integration Guide, a roadmap to incorporating Presto mashups into standards-based enterprise portals from vendors such as Oracle, BEA, IBM and JBoss. The new release of Presto Connect also includes example rich internet applications built with Dojo Toolkit and EXT JS.

The new version of Presto, available now, also includes enhancements to the powerful Presto Edge Mashup Server, including expanded operating system support, certification with Oracle LDAP and Sun’s Project Glassfish, and better mashup visualization through Google Maps and Flash charts.
