The developer-focused software, training and support underscores the enormous demand from enterprise developers as they continue to embrace and deploy mashups in their organizations.

The Presto Developer Edition is a complete edition of the award-winning Presto Enterprise Mashup software that can be used by developers indefinitely at no cost.  Enterprise Mashup developers can create enterprise-grade mashups using the Presto Enterprise Mashup Server, Presto Mashup Composers, Presto Connectors for Portals, Microsoft Excel, and HP Systinet, all driven by JackBe’s unique Enterprise Mashup Markup Language (EMML). In addition, Presto Connect APIs provide easy access to all the underlying power of the Presto mashup platform allowing developers to use and extend with their language and development environment of choice such as Java, JavaScript, ActionScript, C#, and VBA.

The Presto Developer Edition also includes third-party software to enhance the options of the enterprise mashup developer.  JackBe has bundled the popular Ext JS 2.0 cross-browser JavaScript libraries.  The Ext JS libraries are pre-integrated with the Presto Enterprise Mashup Server, providing a powerful option for building high performance, customized mashup widgets.  The Presto Developer Edition also includes 50 mashup-ready APIs from ProgrammableWeb.  JackBe selected the top APIs from this world-wide registry that can have an impact on the time-to-creation on meaningful enterprise mashups.
