JackBe and Intelligent Chaos Partner to Deliver ERP Mashups for the Higher Education Market

ERP Mashups Demonstrated at HEUG Alliance 2009

Chevy Chase, MD and Fremont, CA - March 3, 2009 - JackBe the leading provider of enterprise mashup software, announced today a partnership with EMS- Intelligent Chaos (EMS-IC) an industry leader in Oracle and PeopleSoft ERP implementations. The partnership addresses the need of higher education institutions to leverage decision support dashboards that integrate siloed data to improve funding and resource management decisions.

Together JackBe and EMS- Intelligent Chaos will offer ‘Higher Ed Mashup Packs’ that deliver rapid contextual information and increased ROI from existing ERP investments. The Mashup Packs will bring together experts fluent in Oracle eBusiness Suite and PeopleSoft applications with agile technology that leverages JackBe’s Presto Enterprise Mashup Platform. An example Mashup Pack offering is a dashboard that aggregates data from the expense and time-tracking modules of PeopleSoft and delivers the information through personalized Mashup widgets. Also included in the Mashup Packs are Social Mashups that drive increased collaboration and improve the student experience across the campus.

"Most organizations with deployments of Oracle’s ERP applications face a growing backlog of customization requests that require data integration across multiple ERP modules," said Elaine Myrback, President and CEO of EMS-Intelligent Chaos. "By partnering with JackBe, we can offer our higher education customers an agile solution that leverages their Oracle applications to provide university administrators with the tools they need to effectively manage cash flow and budgets."

Representatives from both firms will be on hand at the Higher Education User Group Alliance on March 22nd-25th in Anaheim CA to demonstrate Mashup solutions that help university students and faculty make faster and more informed decisions.

"With budgets getting tighter and competition increasing for limited gift and research funds, educational institutions are looking to improve operational and strategic decision-making with dynamic access and visualization of student demographics, contributions, and operations data," said Chor-Ching Fan, JackBe Vice President of Product Marketing and Partnerships. "We believe the Higher Ed finance knowledge and the rapid results approach of EMS-Intelligent Chaos’ delivery methodology is a great fit for harnessing the agile capabilities of JackBe’s Enterprise Mashup Platform, Presto."
