Hi guys,

is it possible to access the default value of the variable defined within a mashup script?

I have an idea but it would only work if I can access the default value at runtime.

the emml reference for the <script> tag at the OMA site mentions a conversion from a Java object to an XML DOM tree. Can anyone tell me if this is available in the Presto Developer Edition? I'm just trying something out and when I tried to use it it threw a lovely exception for me saying the function is not defined.

I have seen that this is an example using the Presto.extjs.ServiceStore to populate information from a registered service, but it is an example specifically tailored to a SOAP service that brings back all the data.  Even Ext seems to acknowledge that when calling service, the more common desire is to have server-side pagination.  Can someone provide a working example on how this is done?  I'm using a registered REST service that uses URL parameters to state the starting point and the number of results to return.

I am using the excel connector to create a service using an excel worksheet.  My worksheet has over 7000 rows of data.  When I try and publish all 7000 rows I get the following error:

"Connection with Presto Mashup Server Fail:

Hi all,

How can I use active directory user authentication and inner presto roles, together.

Currently I'm using active directory authentication (user and password), and works fine.

My new requirement is using different roles for different mashlets so users can display only the mashlets assigned to it, but not using active directory like a roles storage about Presto, this is a corporate directory and Presto is not world wide app yet. :) [Read More...]

Is it possible to install the Presto Connector on Excel on the Mac (Excel 2008)?

Our customer required 15 tabs in mashboard always, each of them are built by 3 or 4 mashlets which each of them are using 3 or 4 mashups loading catalogs from a database or querying excel services or making calculations. Works fine, issue is when trying to display in IE or Firefox for the first time, mashboard downloading - displaying all contents is tooooo slow. I have been trying to install and use the excel connector but the registration of he connector is intermitant. By that I mean that sometimes I can register it and use it but when I close excel the registration is lost and I have to do it again but it will never stick.

The most obvious manifestation of the problem is the "Not loaded. A runtime error occurred during the loading of the COM add-in" as shown in the scren shot. [Read More...]

Event Publish for  inter-mashlet communiction is not working If the mashlets are in two different iframe.
