Error creating the PrestoAPIClient Application

We are getting the error "Error creating the PrestoAPIClient Application" when trying to access the http://localhost:8080/presto/home page.

We are able access:  http://localhost:8080/presto/dev and
http://localhost:8080/adminconsole.

The guy who installed Presto 2.7.0 [build 060309] was able to access
./presto/home, but then he installed Presto's Service Pack 1 and the error started appearing.

We are running IE8 in Compatibility Mode.

Any help with this is appreciated.

Hi Geoffrey,

I think the error you are seeing with IE8 is related to some issue with the service pack we had put out. However, we have updated the service pack since then and you should not be seeing the error once you re-install the service pack with the latest version.

Do you think I need to uninstall SP 1 before reinistalling the one I just downloaded?
