The Dev Zone

The Dev Zones are intended for those who don't just wanna 'mash', but want to connect their mashups with a specific technology. Like Java or Ajax? Got Oracle or Salesforce.com? Working on an SOA effort, maybe using HP Systiner? The Dev Zones are quick roadmaps to the demos, videos, code samples, forums, Q&A and blogs that are about your subject.

Current Zones include:

* Mashups & SOA
* Mashups & Portals
* Mashups & Oracle
* Mashups & Ajax/RIA
* Mashups & Java

Some of the Zones that are coming soon include:

* Mashups & Business Intelligence
* Mashups & Salesforce.com
* Mashups & SAP
* Mashups & Silverlight
* Mashups & Flex

If you don't see a Zone for your area of interest, send us a note (communitymanagers@jackbe.com) and we'll get one started for you!

How can I connect my mashup to my LDAP?

Posted 09/04/2008 - 13:55 by chriswarner

I need the mashup to pass the user's credentials to each of the mashup data sources (some are REST services, a few are virtualized SQL databases). How do I do that with the Presto Developer Edition?

How long does the Presto Developer Edition take to install?

Posted 09/10/2008 - 09:04 by chriswarner

I got asked this one in a webcast yesterday: 'I'm just tryin' to plan ahead. How long does the Presto Developer Edition take to install? Is it minutes or hours?' And the answer: the record is less than 3 minutes. A first-timer might take 10 to 15 minutes before he/she got the Presto processes started. And that's if you take the time to read the manual (which you should do!).
