Creating a Simple Mashup with EMML and Mashup Studio

This tutorials takes you through the basic steps to create a simple mashup using the Enterprise Mashup Markup Language (EMML) and Mashup Studio, a plug-in for Eclipse. This tutorial covers basic skills of using EMML to create mashup scripts and the techniques that help make this simple in Mashup Studio.

The mashup in this example is very simple. In fact, it is the same mashup created in the Creating a Simple Mashup in Wires tutorial. You can, however, do many more things in mashups using EMML than are possible in Wires. Once you have mastered the basic skills from this tutorial, see Creating a Mashup in EMML to Combine Reviews and Ratings for a tutorial that explores more of the capabilities in EMML.

Before you begin this tutorial: add the Mashup Studio plug-in to Eclipse. See Installing the Mashup Studio Eclipse Plug-in Remotely or Install the Mashup Studio for instructions. For the Enterprise Edition of Presto, you should also publish the sample services that are bundled with Presto. See other file for instructions.
