Http Basic Authenticaiton for rest services
Posted 07/16/2010 - 01:33 by ravi
Hi,
I have a rest service that is protected by BasicAuth. I published the REST service following the document at http://www.jackbe.com/prestodocs/v2.7.0/prestolibrary/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.htm?context=prestolibrary&topic=wiresGS1 . Even though i selected the Basic Authenticaiton option under "Requires Authentication" , i dont see the headers being passed due to which the request to the service is failing.
Appreciate a quick advise.

Learn it from THEM not ME
Every mashup starts with an idea but why is it I only ever read about the 'killer apps'? Especially since I have conversations with community members everyday about their small feats to create apps for ad hoc situational needs. Many times these apps are created to increase productivity, reduce development time or create new insights but each time, they all start the same...with an IDEA
So here it is, next time someone asks you, 'How would you use enterprise mashup technology in your organization?' you know where to go for ideas. [Read More...]

Mashups connecting to JMS Queues
Posted 02/23/2010 - 08:06 by dsilvia
We ae in the process of desiging a process where we create a mashup that connects to a JMS queue, get the recent messages in the queue and then take the message data and publish this data to a webservice. Is there any examples that show how to connect to a JMS queue using a mashup and get the messages in the JMS queue.
Thanks
<assign fromexpr=.....> failed to pass xml fragment to <invoke inputvariables=....>

Hi
<invoke ... inputvariables="inputVariable" ...> seems not to take the full xml value from <assign fromexpr="an xpath" outputvariable="inputVariable" >
I had 2 simple mashups: TestMashupWsdlClient and TestMashupWsdl. TesMashupWsdlClient created an input variable from <assign fromexpr=.....> and pass it to mashup TestMashupWsdl. The TestMashupWsdl printed out the input value from TestMashupWsdl Client. [Read More...]
mashup always received empty xml input from a SOAP client

Hi,
My simple mashup is having a problem with receiving soap request from a simple SOAP client (SOAP UI). The mashup was reached and responded xml back to the SOAP UI test client. However, it always received empty xml input. How should I configure the mashup to receive non-empty xml input?
I followed the instructions in "Enabling SOAP client to invoke Mashups" of the online doc, but I'm not getting a good input request yet.
The simple mashup is below [Read More...]
