JackBe's Enterprise Mashup Platform delivers Web 2.0 value to the business community through our innovative product offerings and JackBe is searching for Software Architects to help us develop our Enterprise Web 2.0 products. This is a unique opportunity to shape the next generation of the web, creating a mashup platform that brings together ad-hoc data access, RIA/Ajax, web services, SOA, and more.
Deeply technical, driven individuals with strong communication skills will find tremendous technical opportunities as part of our talented team. You will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of elements of our application platform and frameworks that are part of this platform. This position requires a self-motivated individual, who can participate in architecture and design, but loves to code.
Required Qualities include:
- Very high technical competence with a passion for technology, a track record of outstanding coding efforts and individual technical accomplishments
- 3-7 years Java development skills and object oriented design experience, including working knowledge of core libraries and design patterns.
- 5+ years experience with enterprise server technologies
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Desire to excel in a fast-paced environment
Desirable Qualities include:
- Experience with client-side Web technologies, including DHTML, client-side JavaScript, AJAX a huge plus
- Experience with Industry Widget/Gadget APIs, including Google, Yahoo, Netvibes, etc a plus
- Familiarity with Portal server environments
- 3+ years experience in product development.
- Knowledge of application frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
- Familiarity with database design and SQL
